Our Mission
To encourage and support indigent children’s needs in Ohio County, WV and West Alexander, PA through strategically placed charitable resources.
What We Fund
The J. B. Chambers Memorial Foundation is restricted to granting funds to nonprofits, religious and government entities that serve indigent children in Ohio County, WV and the West Alexander area of PA.
The Foundation supports scholarships, food, clothing, school supplies and necessities, and other basic needs. It funds camps for children including indigent youth, along with capital campaigns for youth centers and other programs that directly impact young people.
Foundation Facts
- Only grants to 501(c)(3) organizations and to qualified government units and agencies.
- Funds scholarships for access to education and educational camps.
- Supports organizations in Ohio County, WV and West Alexander, PA. Generally, no grants are made to organizations outside of these regions.
- The board consists of eight members. Click here for a list of board members.
